What is scSTREAM?

scSTREAM is a general-purpose thermo-fluid analysis software utilizing pressured based Finite Volume Method and structured mesh (Cartesian or cylindrical coordinates) while Cutcell and tetra elements can be also utilized. scSTREAM has been used in a wide variety of applications since it was first released in 1984. Due to the nature of mesh structure, scSTREAM has outstanding meshing speed and computation speed. It is heavily used in electronics, architectures and building industries.

scSTREAM offers an efficient analysis solution with the following features.

    scSTREAM can drastically shorten the modeling time through importing Solid model from 3D CAD, SHAPE file from GIS, IDF and Gerber data from ECAD. scSTREAM can also create a part using convenient primitives and models such as an anemostat models, fan models, duct models, heat sink primitives and so on. You can also create your own Parts library by registering those parts assembly along with material property information, heat generation information and so on.

Multi-block, Cutcell, Finite Element Modeling and Meshing
    With the Multi-block method which enables local refinement using Cartesian mesh, memory consumption and computation time can be reduced by applying finer mesh to a specific part or location. Cutcell and Finite Element Modeling using tetra or hexahedron elements can be also utilized where the curvature needs to be captured more precisely. Meshing can be automatically done according to a couple of parameters you specified and its meshing speed is outstanding. It usually takes a couple of seconds to create 1 million mesh.

    The Wizard-guided setup enables the ease of use without any confusion, and prevents data input omissions.

High computation speed with low memory consumption
    Using a structured mesh, scSTREAM can provide outstanding performance in both computation speed and robustness. scSTREAM can solve a 5 to 6 million mesh model using 2GB RAM.
