What is MADYMO WorkSpace?

MADYMO WorkSpace contains a suite of pre- and post-processing tools to facilitate the creation of MADYMO models and analysis of the simulation results. These tools reduce the workload of the engineer by providing features like database management, single-click component exchange, automated parameter variations and automated result processing.

Modules

XMADgic

Dedicated MADYMO pre-processor, including features to position a dummy model and fit a seatbelt on it.

CouplingAssistant

Developed specifically to enable FE code experts to include a MADYMO model (e.g. dummy model) in their FE model without having to learn the details of MADYMO.

MADPost

Dedicated MADYMO post-processor to visualize and analyze the results from a MADYMO simulation. Scores for standardized safety protocols, like EuroNCAP and US-NCAP, can be generated. Differences between test data and simulation results can be quantified using Objective Rating. The absorption and flow of energy between the restraint system and the occupant can be analyzed and visualized in detail, enabling the design engineer to optimize the restraint system performance very efficiently.

Exchange

Graphical tool that enables people that do not understand the details of a MADYMO input deck to assemble and modify models in a controlled environment. Model components can be exchanged very easily from a model database. The checks and balances built into the tool ensure that the user enters reasonable and appropriate values.

Time savers

Dedicated routines can be run in batch-mode during a DOE analysis to automate parameter variations like seat positions, or to automatically calculate NCAP scores for each run in the DOE analysis.
