What is Sculptor?

Sculptor empowers the engineer/designer to arbitrarily deform shapes using our proprietary Arbitrary Shape Deformation (ASD) technology without having to remesh after each iteration. Set up in batch mode with commericially available solvers and optimizers, Sculptor can find those shape changes that will increase performance based upon the criteria set up by the engineer/designer. Once the new shapes have been achieved those shapes can be taken back to the native CAD format using Back2CAD.

  • Cylindrical ASD: Same function as Cartisian ASD, but allows ASD grids to perfom functions on circular and rotating motions
  • T-Splines: Increases focus of control points over areas where Sculptor will change shapes
  • Grid Clip: Cut models into smaller sections to decrease solver run-times and not affect other sections of the model where shape change is not desired.
